So with work and life, I haven't had much time to work on the Bronco. This week I have been working on the fuel system plumbing. The fuel is plumbed from the gas tank to the fuel filter assembly, to the low pressure pump, to the high pressure pump, and then through to the fuel rail and back again.

Purdy. Just half ass the entire project and get it on the road. That way you can regret it later down the road and redo everything two or three times

looks good, i wonder how well the pumps will work that close? what fuel rail system is that?

Thanks guys!

The pumps should work well. I have situated them this way on other rigs without issue. The intakes and fuel rails are from an Explorer. I like them because the Schraeder valve is right on the fuel rail and is easy to get at to check fuel pressure. I will be running the 70mm MAF to match up to the 19lb injectors.

Tonight I worked on my door panels. These are made from aluminum sheet. Since the doors won't have window cranks, I wanted to make a pair without holes for the cranks. So here is the result. I had to cut a few holes with the plasma. The rest was drilled, or cut with the angle grinder and jig saw. They will be going to the painter and will be painted matte black. The truck will be getting several things painted that color. I don't think it will be getting any chrome exterior trim. Black chrome door handles are on order to match the mirrors. I'm still pondering on what to do for the headlight bezels.

So, after 3 years at the body shop and several thousands of dollars later, this is what I get...

Dude closed his shop, parked my crap out in the weather, and gave me the run around for weeks. I finally got it back in my possession and am going to have to do a bunch of stuff to it and will give it to a trustworthy shop to finish.

Before all that happens, I am going to get as much done on it as I can by myself.

The first thing is the floor. It was bedlined with something but it didn't adhere very well in spots. I managed to get most of it removed over the past few evenings. The sand blaster didn't come close to removing it when I had the tub blasted before giving it to the body guy (who was supposed to remove it and prep it for new liner). Good news is that the floors are in great shape!
