Today is a very important day for SCBronco. His years of hard work and dedication have been invaluable to the Air Force and he has been recognized as an individual who will ensure the successful future of our fine organization.
When the Air Force promotes an Airman to the upper tier, it is an indication he has proven he is a master of his craft while also taking on the responsibilities of supervision and leadership roles.
The upper tier, or top three, is occupied by a small percentage of the total force and is considered what civilians call "upper management." If Nick worked for an outside organization, today he would be moving to a corner office with a view on one of the upper floors of the building. The Air Force has no such building, so he may have to settle for slightly less glamorous accommodations.
I am honored to be an airman in a force where such fine leaders as Nick are properly recognized and am extremely proud of his accomplishments and sacrifices for our country.
