what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-26-2014 I found the spindle via car-part.com. This time a yard in Nebraska is sending the part via Fedex. Cost me about $55 shipped. I hope it is in good shape. Beats $150+ for aftermarket stuff. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-26-2014 Installed a lever lock for rear brakes. Made custom length lines and beautiful double flares. Didn't work. Come to find out I have the input and output ports on the lock swapped. It wasn't labeled and I assumed it didn't matter; no such luck. Now back to parts store for another length of brake line. Grrrrrrrr. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - broncosbybart - 08-26-2014 Spindle sounds like it was a good price. Did you buy a new MIG gun to replace the 'emergency repair' yet??? Got some work done on the 74. Have half a page of stuff to do to it. First up is wheel/spindle bearings, but I won't get creative points like chuzie did on his. Getting it ready for the fall cruise up in WNC on Sept 20. Anyone here planning to go? http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244669&highlight=carolina Please don't crucify me for posting a MEB event here what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-27-2014 No one posts anything here ever so I see no harm in a MEB event. Got lever lock installed AND functional. Best $75 yet! Also plumbed my adjustable prop valve. Now my CB automatically mutes stereo and pipes CB into speakers. Pimp! Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - Timstrk - 08-27-2014 It looks like you just plumbed a flammable liquid into the passenger compartment of your vehicle. No es bueno, esse. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-27-2014 Auto ignition of 572*F and flash point of 176*F. Combine that with the small quantities and likelihood of an ignition source. I am pretty confident it is not a factor. Remind me you told me so when I am in the ICU. Fwiw- I'm running all steel and grommets at fire wall. Clay, clean ur lens or turn up the resolution. Your pics are blurry. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. |
