what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-28-2014 Still waiting on spindle to arrive. Since I had nothing else to do, I added a full size shovel to the collection. Can you find Waldo? Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - snipes243 - 08-28-2014 chuzie Wrote:Still waiting on spindle to arrive. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - broncomatt - 08-28-2014 Yea, we have to talk about the welder. Glad to see your back in the shop. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-28-2014 That was Chuck's welder. It was either that or leave his rig in the garage until a new switch was ordered so we could finish the exhaust. If I know chuck, it will stay that way for the foreseeable future. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - broncomatt - 08-28-2014 Rebuilt my powerlock tonight. Forgot to get the axle shaft seals so I will on the way home tomorrow. Then I can weld in my shock mounts on the front and back. Then to paint the cage. I'm supposed to be building a 351w for my friend but until the parts come in im playing my stuff. I didn't mention that I set my motorcycle on fire a few weeks ago. The 40 year old harness melted while I was changing the oil (you crank it over to drain the oil). Now that is completely rebuilt I can get back to good old ford projects. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-29-2014 Sitting around with thumb in ass waiting for FedEx guy to deliver spindle only to find out those morons put it on the wrong truck and took it to the wrong city. Now I don't have a Bronco until Tuesday. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with T2. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-29-2014 Since I had nothing better to do I decided to create trailer safety chain access on my bumper. Wanted to make it able to accept s-hooks and quick links. The holes turned out really nice. Thank God for drill Dr.! Then I installed my hitch pin and realized I didn't quite see the forest through the trees. FAIL! So I redrilled all the holes on the bottom of the bumper and welded the old ones. Lesson learned. Went to the junkyard and pulled engine, transmission, and O2 harnesses from a 97 Explorer for my future OBD-II upgrade. Took me 3.5 hours and I got roasted! Have to go back tomorrow to snag a PCM, PCM box, and cam position sensor. Had to quit before I died from heat stroke. |
