Damn... at least it's job security for Chuck :hysterical: Does Lisa cook you dinner when you are over too?

At least a lot of that list is stuff you can widdle away over time and it's not rush rush. Are you driving it to URE?

Last night Chuck said he was closing the garage after all this.Lol. Exactly as you said a lot of the items on the list can be knocked out little by little.

She has gotten dinner for us, she's awesome. Fried Chicken and Pizza feasts in the garage.

The URE trip has been the goal for this project from the start.

drove the bronco round the hood testing it out...then drove to the gas station. so far things are good. still have a tiny leak at the return line near the tank.

Yes last night was the first test drive around the neighborhood. Chuck cleaned up the wiring around the battery. He even hooked up a sweet mercury switch under hood light. [Image: FF3ABBF3-EA1E-4B07-B499-0BC84EC825DB-180...4fc390.jpg] I'm heading to South Texas for 2 weeks. I can't wait to back to this!

And the exhaust sounds great with the top off driving around last night!!!! The throttle response is going to take getting used to. VAROOOM! The transmission was shifting good with the new TC. A couple slight leaks from the C4 but I think that will clear up once the gaskets swell back up from being dry and sitting for so long. The brakes were a little touchy and need a slight adjustment to the MC push rod.

back to the top...reckon no one seen this yet

Imagine you just completed your dream of installing a 5.0 EFI engine in your Bronco that you haven't driven in 5 months and then the morning after a quick test drive you're sent out of town for work for 2 weeks. Obliviously I'm excited to get back and get some miles on this truck before the big URE trip. Now imagine you're work decides to send directly to another job for 2 more weeks.

I'm going crazy to get some time in the driver's seat.

As if Chuck hasn't done enough already, I may need him to road test this truck before I get home.

Congratulations on the swap! You will love the EFI and after wheeling mine this past weekend I am bumping EFI on the blue rig up sooner than later.

Looking forward to see and hear it in person.

A quick update.
The fuel leak has been fixed. The brakes have been fixed and are working perfectly. We put the bumpers on yesterday, along with Chuzie's class II receiver hitch. I'll have new shocks and steering stabilizer to be installed soon. There's only a couple things left before I'm ready to drive this to URE such as bolting in the new seat belts, and upgrading the heater box.

And now for the big news,

I just priced out a set of BFG KM2's. 33 x 12.50 15R. :chili:
