Dang it boy, I got an aggravating belt squeal too. Mine is more of a chirping sound as the RPMs rev up just before the C4 shifts. I been using belt dressing and with this heat wave it seems to help for about 2 days and then the chirping starts again. Belts are nice and tight, so that's not the problem....I think I'm going to bite the bullet and install new belts this weekend. The power steering belt looks kinda glazed and it's never been replaced in the 15+ years I've owned the old girl....:banghead:

well pulled trac bar pulled and got frame up on jackstands. man the trac bar bushings were shot. guess i found the culprit of the ole death wobble.now getting ready to pull front axle. gonna go the long route to change bushings i guess. might as well weld up the carrier while i have it out from under it. spray a little krylon and put it back in. hope to be done by next weekend.

no problem, if i knew ya were doing bushings...i woulda recommended the degreed bushings from WH's...they replace those round ones at the frame. they are awesome!

i ordered the 2 degree from duffs. i have no lift at the moment so dont need the degreed ones. but after the ure trip i plan on gathering the rest of lift parts. now im off to parts house to get brake part cleaner to clean carrier so i can weld it up then paint housing then put all back together.
