Proud new owner of a 77 D44 front axle. Now I'm in the market for a 77 EB rear end.

Chuck, you have one you aren't using, right???? :jump:

Put the rebuilt box in this afternoon. Heck it went in easier than taking out. Hooked the lines up and added fluid. Hopefully it won't spit up but plan to take my time with it. 12 hour shifts start for me on Tuesday and go till Sunday. ORI preparations bite the big one! May be ill get a chance to install my factory seats this week if the pollens not too bad, it's kicking my arse.

Wish I can make it to the M&G with you guys, hope you guys have a safe trip.

ORI sucks ass. I have always despised how we are so full of crap and only pretend to operate properly for a bunch of inspectors a couple days every few years and the rest of the time we have our head up our butt.

Don't forget to jack up the front end and purge the living hell out of that box!!!

Don't really understand of having an inspection just months after coming home from Kandahar? We proved ourselves then and in Balad in 2010. These inspections really don't reflect a real deployment IMHO! Hey, I'll just sit and color. The State is still paying me so I can go play War Games as my wife calls it. Besides the extra money will help fund the big bearing Banjo somebody has hidden in their garage! Confusedcratchhe:

Scan the Super Celebration for sale parts too... I'll be there and can pick it up for you if you find one that will be there.

Oh and yeah, it's been up in the air since noon. Been out there going back and forth, back and forth without engine on. Tomorrow will remove wire to coil and get the pump to start turning and go back and forth. Hopefully by Saturday ill put the wire back on a crank the ole girl up. I might do it the hard way but I only want to do this once.

Thx Robert, those axles are a lil hard to find and can expensive as well. MikeD has a couple of them but he has them already sold. He sells them for $400 if it has a locker as indicated by tag on the hoghead. Heck I don't need the hoghead but it would be nice to have a factory locker. $400 is a lil steep for me, gotta find one way less than that. Need to wait till next month, cash is kinda low.

JBass has an earlier model, but big bearing, rear end for sale now.... does it need to be '77 specific?
