Replaced that pesky intermitant brake light switch today.

What was the issue with your turn signals? Switch or flasher?

It was the flasher. The fuse was corroded also and was not making a good connection. Cleaned that up and signals started working right. Then a couple of days later the brake lights quit. On them i found that the brake light switch was not working every time. I guess 42 years of southern humidity have worked their wonders on the contacts. At the moment all tail lights are working. I even put the new lenses which came wrapped in news paper laying in the floor of the bronco when I bought it in.

The plastic bushing in the pedal goes bad too and creates a lot of slop sometimes preventing actuation of an older switch

Speaking of bushings. The bushings which go in the z bar for the clutch linkage? I used to be able to find them at parts houses. Does anyone know where I can find them now. The one where one end is on the frame and the other is on the engine block.

Got and thanks for the quick reply. I am trying to get everything collected up that I may want or need to replace when I do the 435 install. Which I hope is very soon nos as the weather has cooled some.

Got one on the way as of a few minutes ago.

I haven't seen my bronco in a week and it feels GREAT!

It will be another week before I see it again and that feels even better!
