what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - Broncitis - 08-15-2015 Replaced that pesky intermitant brake light switch today. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-16-2015 What was the issue with your turn signals? Switch or flasher? Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk! what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - Broncitis - 08-16-2015 It was the flasher. The fuse was corroded also and was not making a good connection. Cleaned that up and signals started working right. Then a couple of days later the brake lights quit. On them i found that the brake light switch was not working every time. I guess 42 years of southern humidity have worked their wonders on the contacts. At the moment all tail lights are working. I even put the new lenses which came wrapped in news paper laying in the floor of the bronco when I bought it in. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-16-2015 The plastic bushing in the pedal goes bad too and creates a lot of slop sometimes preventing actuation of an older switch Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk! what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - Broncitis - 08-16-2015 Speaking of bushings. The bushings which go in the z bar for the clutch linkage? I used to be able to find them at parts houses. Does anyone know where I can find them now. The one where one end is on the frame and the other is on the engine block. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-16-2015 Here you go... http://shop.broncograveyard.com/mobile/Equalizer-Bar-Bushing-Kit/productinfo/11228/ Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk! what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - Broncitis - 08-16-2015 Got and thanks for the quick reply. I am trying to get everything collected up that I may want or need to replace when I do the 435 install. Which I hope is very soon nos as the weather has cooled some. Got one on the way as of a few minutes ago. what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today? - chuzie - 08-16-2015 I haven't seen my bronco in a week and it feels GREAT! It will be another week before I see it again and that feels even better!
