so after cleaning and painting radius arms,caps, coils and coil buckets i moved on to the next project while paint dried. i removed the d30 cover to clean and inspect everything before welding spider gears...lo and behold i found my outer u joint was shot and pinion bearings are shot...

that sucks...but shouldnt be too hard to fix. i not so sure i would weld a D30...them joints wont have a chance lol

Yep, glare. It's just shining like the star that it is in the parking lot at work surrounded by Four Runners, Jeeps, mini vans, etc.
