The motor is in and the first 5 mile test run done. Sounds really good and hopefully will last a while. Thanks Bart. No pics Clay.

The hood is back on and the pwr steering hoses to the cooler rerouted and along with the plug wires are tie wrapped to hopefully protect them. Also made a 20 mile run to town and back to pick up a gallon of milk. Check all seems well. Anyone want to make a run to URE this weekend

Installed the wild horses track bar riser so I would have a place to mount my steering RAM. I am running into a problem with the twisting of the tie rod ends on the tie rod. it is rotating so much that it takes me out of perfectly level and parallel with the tie rod. Not really sure how to fix that problem. It is not off by a lot but I am being overly cautious so as to prevent bending yet another steering RAM. Has anyone installed a steering RAM from a wild horses riser to the tie rod with a tie rod over set up?

Thanks. It can be hard work sometimes.

Dwight, don't you have some hunting to do or something?

Chuzie- is the tie rod rotating, causing the issue? You can tack weld the jam nut to it to help prevent that, or just keep your eye on it and straighten it every now and then. Mounting to the riser won't stop the rod from twisting.

I will try tacking the jam nut. I am mounting to the riser for a more optimal and parallel location. The rotation will occur no matter where i mount it. Thanks bro.

Yes Bart I am gonna start hunting again in the Morning. Oh Yea the weather is starting to get right.
Bart did you mean to mention that there was not a valve cover gasket on the driver side valve cover. No problem I found out on start up LOL. Just happened to have a single gasket in the shop.
