Broncomatt Greetings from SE Charlotte - supertoyota88 - 06-15-2009 welcome!!!! Greetings from SE Charlotte - jkransbottom - 06-15-2009 Thanks everybody. I really appreciate the warm welcome. Now, who can help me get the rear axles reinstalled so I can get it back out on the road? It's been up on the stands for way too long. :banghead: (I'm serious!) Thanks! Greetings from SE Charlotte - 66stocker - 06-15-2009 Just a quicky without starting a tech thread. Bronco axles are stubborn. One side is a 1/2 shorter than the other. Make sure you have them on the correct side. Sometimes you have to push them in till it stops, pull it out a bit, rotate 10 degrees and try again. If you go around 360 deg, 10 deg at a time and you don't find the sweet spot, start a tech thread and let everyone weigh in. I'm sure we can figure it out. Greetings from SE Charlotte - jkransbottom - 06-15-2009 Thanks 66stocker. I'll try it and start a new tech thread if I can't get it. Greetings from SE Charlotte - bucketobolts - 06-15-2009 You have a beautiful uncut my friend! |
