Things have changed anyway. After looking things over I am just going to leave everything alone, just change the worn out left side ball joints.
Not like that is going to be any fun. lol
Any hints besides paying someone to do it?
Doc, I appreciate the offer of returning my money but since I didn't pay anything for it that would be hard to do. lol
I sure do like the Dove C heads I picked up today for the 460 Big Grin

The Bronco would be a monster with that 460 in it. Especially with them new heads on it.

That stays in the F100 Ron. Don't be starting any rumors. lol
Wish I had one for the Bronco though. lol
The Heads should wake up the 460 in the 71 pretty good though right?ol

The best thing I did was buy my own ball joint press kit. OTC, for just under few hundred. An air chisle with a pickle fork is nice too.

If you're around Charlotte give me a shout, you can come over and do those ball joints with my hydraulic press. Definitely easier than those hand held ball joint presses.

I AM near Charlotte. Actually Huntersville but just off I77 exit 18.
I already have the right side tore too far down to put it back together but zI appreciate the offer Roughshod.
Where are you at? Do you have a profesional shop or just a well equipted home shop?

I'm on the east side of Charlotte, in the Hickory Grove area. Don't have a professional shop just yet, but my garage is about to burst at the seams. The press is a 30 ton H frame press that I borrowed from work a few years ago and they never wanted it back. Lucky me! As for the ball joints, you've got to pull the knuckles to do it anyway. Pull them both and bring them down. Give me a call if you want to come down, 704-507-3285.
