billavista is like one them there inganeer types. He can provide you with hours of reading material. Spent alot of time on the pirate board years ago when i was in Cali. Was at the Pirate rubicon clean-up in 99.
If your ok with rust repair , and you are satisfied with the axle info go for it. depends on what you want it to be , wheeler , showpiece , driver or a little of all that.
But there is a wealth of info here and alot of good folks willing to help ya if able.

Not really sure what Im gonna do with it...I wasnt exactly "looking" for one, but this kinda popped up. The guy is wanting to trade for some stuff I have and Im trying to do the math to see if its worth the trouble to trade, repair this one and either drive it or sell it....I can do all the mechanical myself so thats no problem, it just deciding if its worth it or not..Guess I need to drink some more and think bout it :beer:

I doubt there is one piece of sheet metal on that thing thats good.
The quality of the work done on the bronco is poor at best.
The body is not even bolted to the frame in front floor.
What do you think is under that sheet metal patch on the floor?
Add that to the steering system and I would have to question the entire "custom" drive train.
I think $500 would be too much.
There are much better Broncos out there for $1500 - $2000.
I would pass on this thing.

I think Im gonna pass on this deal...after looking at the pics closer its got alot of hidden problem. It looks like the outside had the bedliner put on over rust, so that would mean either stripping the bedliner or doing the repairs and then reapply the the bedliner...
