Had a great day wheeling. I had a bad rear u-joint and changed it out early (before it broke) wheeled Rocky Mt. Loop, to Falls Dam to Dickey Bell, to Kodak rock, watched some Toyota's and some Jeeps take the easier lines through Kodak while chilling out for a lunch break. Ended up pulling one of the Toyotas through Kodak, He was trying to get a lifted, but 2 wheel drive truck through without having too much luck. Lots of wheel spin so it was fairly entertaining. After Kodak we ran Daniel and called it a day. Weather was perfect, and the trails were great, just a little damp so the dust wasn't bad, but were'nt just a muddy mess. Dutch John was closed, they are working on re-routing parts of the trail, hopefully it will be open in Nov. If not we'll have to run the "Water Bar" trail a couple of times.

what is water bar?

I think it is that new trail they were cutting last year when we were there. Would like to read some feedback on it though.

Just email my Forest Service contact to get more into on Dutch John.

I am psyched about Nov Run!

for the "Water Bar" I was referring to the new entrance to Sawmill. We drove it last year or the maybe even the year before just after it opened. It was the one where there is a water bar every 10-15 feet even on the flat surfaces.
