I have a 277/480 volt meter can that I installed, and less than 2 months later somebody tried to thieve the copper out of the service. Had to be amatures. They tried to cut the hot service wire with bolt cutters, when it didnt cut it, they started twisting it and made contact with the side of the can. BOOM right in their stupid face. I know they got hurt. There is no way that could happen and not get hurt. Right in their face. Would have loved to see that. They didnt get anything but hurt and cost the farmer to repair it. Ive got plenty of stories of repairs Ive made because of theft.
