I have the same issue with hole elongation on my upper track bar mount. That link didn't work though. Hook it up, I'm interested.

When you say ball joints are tight, do you mean the nuts or you actually raised the wheel and tested movement?

The ball joints are tight no up and down movement

So why not just weld on a few gr8 washers?

I thought about it, but was afraid the washer would just elongate. It could be worth a try.

How about a piece of 1/4 (a50)flat stock cut to fit? If you elongate 1/4, you have bigger issues.

That would most certainly work too, not sure I have any but I will look around.

Many times I have welded a grade 8 washer to fix that, always worked and hardly every wore out faster than the frame.

If it worked so well Matt, why did you have to do it many times?????????

BTW folks, I HAVE ARRIVED. The day has finally come when Matt actually agreed with something I suggested. This is it; I have peaked.

I recall you mentioning a death wobble problem. Are your tires balanced? Air pressure?

Do the wedges regardless as they could be in wrong and go from there. If you decide to weld washers to the track bar mount, just weld them in a couple places so you can grind it off and replace them should the need ever arise.

The plane is to replace the bushings and weld washers on the track bar. The tires were balanced years ago so they could be out of balance. But they seem to drive pretty smooth.
