Others might want to chime in but you'll need to go to an outside website and download your pics there and then copy / paste the link into your reply box:
Click on the image button, then paste the link of your image, then hit the image button again to complete the process....
So far http://www.photobucket.com haa worked well for me....I'm not too advanced - honestly I haven't posted a pic since we switched to the new screen and I'm not even sure where the "image" button is now...anyone want to help me out and give him the right info!
