I wholeheartedly agree with children in the truck everything you can do isn't enough. The scout will be kid safety frendly I can promise you. D Safety...Safety...Safety - Timstrk - 06-25-2008 Pad the roll bar and make sure he keeps his hands and feet inside the ride at all times. I made roll bar padding out of funnoodles from wallyworld. Got the green ones, too. Tim Safety...Safety...Safety - broncomania - 06-25-2008 how much does those helmets cost ?? i think some obsticles it would be a good idea to put a noggin knocker on. Safety...Safety...Safety - johnpaulgolf - 06-25-2008 Back to the real reason for this...harness? helmet? come on with your come on 10 johnpaulgolf Wrote:So now that I got somewhat of a capable rig (I hope) or at least capable of rolling over...I've decided two things for sure...upergrin: Safety...Safety...Safety - johnpaulgolf - 06-26-2008 Bump...cratchhe: :poke: :repost: johnpaulgolf Wrote:So now that I got somewhat of a capable rig (I hope) or at least capable of rolling over...I've decided two things for sure...upergrin: Safety...Safety...Safety - SC74 - 06-26-2008 Don't forget about seats! JP I see that you already have the Corbeau seats so that is good for safety. Jessica's blue rig has some Bestop seats with no side cushion and she always feels like she is going to slide out. One of the next improvements on that rig is better seats with better side support. Only problem is my fat butt can't fit in seats with side support cratchhe: Safety...Safety...Safety - mudmonkey - 06-26-2008 I have a extra surgical stapler, if you want it. It works great for any deep cuts. Just stay away from the face with it. Also have the glue if your scared. They work great. They were a little loose on John Pual but you can work around that. They work well with the corbeaus. I think I got mine from wildhorses or duff. Reasonably priced as well. When it comes to safety price should not be an issue. The helmet is is a great idea. I ride mountain bikes and a road bike and always have my helmet. If you feel like you have something to protect then you need a helmet. carl |
