Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - chuzie - 03-15-2015 Smoking kills. Stance looks great. You made it look easy. Sleeves are for shirts. Replace the tube. DOM or 1/4 wall box would be sick since I assume it's gonna be trailered. If you buy RCVs I'm gonna steal them. I paid $10 for my vocabulary, not $5. Get back to work. You have dovetailing to do. Btw u guys split it exactly. 170, precisely double the old wheel/tire combo. Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - chuzie - 03-15-2015 Your wheel/tire combo weighs more than me! Maybe you can mount a hoist for tire changes. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk! Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - scbronco - 03-15-2015 So I now I can be like u. My truck will only move with a grown man on each corner pushing it. I thought you were blowin smoke up my a$$. Dude went and chopped it up. You certainly get an "A" for effort and motivation! Great job. How many inches will she be narrowed? I actually work on my Bronco a LOT more than I post on the forum so it isn't driven nearly as much as most would think. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk! Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - scbronco - 03-16-2015 Oh i definitely meant it! Its narrowed 7 1/4" on each side. I measuredd for a hypothetical 8" movement, but the tab that spot welds the taillight housing to the rear most bed beam is a half inch wide so it made more sense to use that as the stoping point. it really lines up well with the cuts in the bed rail and it looks like closing those cuts up will not be as terrible as i feared they could be. I am also planning to abandon the factory style lower bed sides. the more i look at it it's just inviting a cool tube "mid" cage structure that will provide a "slider" along the bed rail and mimic the fender flare that used to be there. Ill post pics as it happens. Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - Crawdad - 03-16-2015 Sick Pony is turning into a Mean Stallion before its all over with! Keep up the mods! Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - scbronco - 03-16-2015 Drivers side done. Onto some extensive sheet metal patching. Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street - Crawdad - 03-16-2015 Id be happy to help in stitching some metal together.
