JohnPaul's Build - johnpaulgolf - 07-06-2009 Done a few little things mokin:... put my old fan shourd back on ... not skeeered about the radiator moving now after the indo cage mods ... The other day when drivin it around temps got a little warm so I thought this might make a difference ... we will see :toothy12: Also had something killing my battery so I installed this big ass cut off switch ... originally got the switch for a dual battery set up ... I know this is a quick fix and I really need to find out what is draining my battery but still pretty cool to have a main "kill" switch ... mokin: :popc1: JohnPaul's Build - johnpaulgolf - 08-05-2009 Just kinda tightening things up and doing maintenance and I ordered a couple small things ... tell me your thoughts ... I had the Stone Crusher guy leave my steering unpainted so I will clear coat them for my own "BlingSteer" The badass driveshaft from WildHorses ... and 31 Spline badboys from Tom'sBroncos mokin: :notworthy: mokin: JohnPaul's Build - blazinchuck - 08-05-2009 i'll play...i think the one in the middle is different. did i win? JohnPaul's Build - broncomatt - 08-05-2009 Nice progress JP, I will say watch out for water and mud in the batt switch. I use the same switch on my eb, After some time they do stick and rust on the inside. May be fun reaching for that switch after going threw some mud, just a thought. JohnPaul's Build - johnpaulgolf - 08-18-2009 This weekend I finally did my "Bling Crusher" Stone Crusher steering upgrade. mokin: Comments ... :popc1: Burned up 2 $20 drill bits but I like it I like it ALOT ... JohnPaul's Build - JayT - 08-18-2009 HOT! well worth the 40 bucks in drill bits! JohnPaul's Build - Mill Knob - 08-18-2009 Man JP that looks great.. Good job. Now try not to break them... JohnPaul's Build - SC74 - 08-18-2009 you'll be very happy with that set-up. Before I even read far enough to see that you killed 2 bits I was going to ask how you enjoyed drilling those knuckles out ... got to take it slow and easy and use some cutting oil. Looks good. JohnPaul's Build - broncomatt - 08-18-2009 Nice JP, I got a bit from snap on, so they warenty them. You will love them, I put mine on and other than changing heims for wear have had no problems. Besure to add the larger wrench (I think mine are 1 1/8 or 1 1/4) to remove the jam nuts or bolts should you blow a heim. Just ask carl, we broke one in the rock race. Spare heims from summit is a cheap way you'll be sure to get home. JohnPaul's Build - Timstrk - 08-18-2009 You don't want to know how much I could have saved you over the 'name brand'. Its all good. Blingy looks cool. Wait til the kill switch fills up with mud and then want to turn it off.... dooooh!!! love you, mean it... Tim |
