I like them only because they are SOOOOOO much less expensive than a bronco in terms of parts etc.

I like older Jeeps. I had a 53 M38A1 when I was young. Pulled it out to Texas when I got married and joined the Air Force. Had a ball with it out there. Might have been better than most as it had a 64 289 Ford engine with a Warn O.D. giving it 6 forward gears. Took down several Golden Eagles stop light to stop light out there. Not that I street race.

Allright this was the creek that claimed Chuck's radiator a few weeks ago at our local CB4X4 meeting 04/26/08.

So Donnie aka "godevil" thought his bad a** willy's could make it. NOT!!

This pic shows the little jeep buried I mean drivers side under water so bad there was a couple inches of water in the drivers seat. Anyway I wanted my first jeep recovery but could not budge this thing...damn it...it was down the bank and took a Ford superduty and winch.

yeah John, lets not forget the 1st stuck early cj5 that the willys had to pull out. The only problem was, he alone could not winch the cj out, so my bronco had to hook up and pull both(count them-both)jeeps out of the muck on the same pull(picture my bronco tied to willys, tied to cj...).:hysterical:

sorry Donnie...just sturring da pot:thefinger:

Stuck Happens!
It's all good. I make no excuses for The Little White Jeep.
I sure don't recall a blue Bronco attempt on the creek, do you Chuck?
No guts no glory!
