what happen to my first bronco - dan50 - 08-05-2009 First was an 87 Eddie Bauer, 351W, 4 bbl, C6. Previous owner had rebuilt the engine and butchered it, I had to install emissions parts from an early 90s F-150 to get it registered in Virginia. Drove it for 9 months, all summer long and then for my last semester in college. The vacuum modulator crapped out and every time I filled up the C6 it would SMOOOOOOOKE like crazy, and I didn't know what a vacuum modulator was so I couldn't fix it. Then it started dieseling........ so I sold it on ebay for more than I paid, guy showed up paid cash after looking at it for 30 seconds, left with my plate, never returned it, he was from Arizona and needed a ride home. Not sure I would have picked that thing to drive all that way from Virginia but whatever. Still have pics of it, it was great. Replaced it with a 91 and then an 83. |
