Just odds and ends.
I cracked a header on the heep so I have been fixing that.
Should be getting back to it next week ... time is running out!

WHAT???Confusedcratchhe: So what is wrong with the heep?

Stock 66 interior rebuild thread - 66stocker - 01-24-2010

The collector on the header cracked. Started sucking air into the exaust stream.
The oxygen sensor thought it was running really lean so the computer started dumping
lots of fuel. Result was it would hardly idle and ran rough unless it was wide open.

It's a Banks header with a lifetime warrantee so they are sending a new one which should
be here on Monday. I'll get everything put back together and start back on the Bronco.

Hey Bill any progress on the bronco?

Stock 66 interior rebuild thread - 66stocker - 03-07-2010

Funny you should ask Berg ...
Let me start by saying if I ever get it in my head that I can recover a seat and stay
calm and sane, please shoot me.

So I got my seats back from the upholstry shop and they are looking good. Best money
I have ever spent. My 66 had stock seats but they were out of a 73 so I found some
66 seat frames, had them blasted and primed. I bought the 66 silver gray seat covers and
new seat foams.
I installed the rear seat but I'm waiting to get the fronts bolted in until I get
My dash back from the painter and installed.

The pics are of the old seats and the new seats. Now it's really getting back to stock!

So at least it's going back together now ... I'm scrambling to get it all squared
away by the meet & greet and the super celebration.

Nice work, great to see those stockers.

Looks good Bill. I really like the look. I need to get up with you about the white seats. I like to get them from you and get them in my 69 Bronco before the Super Celebration in TN.

OK guys,
I am 99.9% done. Just a few more minor items to deal with.
I installed the dash and everything that goes in it, through it and on it.
It hasn't been started since the Hendersonville cruise last fall but it cranked right up.
I took it out for a run today and everything is working great.

So it Looks like I'm going to make it to the meet & greet in Charlotte
and the Super Celebration in Townsend!
