JayT Wrote:Where you getting your Flouros from? Just saw a "nice" puddle in the driveway where the bus was parked last night... And my wife has it right now... GREAT! Who's bright idea was it to have us LSD guys be required to run ULSD?! :banghead:

Installation took 30 minutes with breaks to warm up really cold hands.

has anyone taken the dash apart on a 99+ superduty? i have a Haynes manual that i haven't even looked at yet. it appears that the buzzer noise is an indicator for the air bag light not functioning. that should be a fun fix...

I have not removed mine, but have been told it is fairly simple. Here is an online article http://www.ehow.com/how_7648508_remove-dash-ford-super-duty.html

Mine will be due for service soon with the fuel filter being due again.

Its been a while, but a few things I did on my 2000.

Remove the A-pillar on both sides. (possible if you do not have gauges, but gives more room)
Remove the radio and two screws going into the top of the dash.
Remove headlight switch OR unplug it from the back if you have small enough hands.

Replaced the cam position sensor and it stopped stalling. Replaced the VSS/ABS sensor and the ABS light quit coming on. Another couple hundred thousand miles and I'll feel a little more comfortable about driving it. Had to replace the fuel pump, batteries, and a right front hub. Amazing what goes bad just sitting up. Not the hub, it was bad before it sat up. Sounds fine now. +140 on the chip will put you in the back seat. Waaaay fun. And it blows a little smoke doing that.

Waiting on the water pump to come in for mine. Then I get to start the 200k maintenance sweep.

put a leveling kit underneath the front end of my 2wd this weekend. still has a little rake to it, but not as drastic as it was. wouldnt mind finding a set of 285/75's to put on now...but theres a lot of life left in the tires that are on it.

New water pump is on. New serpentine belt. Changed to Shell red ELC for the coolant.

I went to put new gaskets in my turbo feed pipes (up pipes), and the old ones fell out after breaking a bolt in the y-collector. I ended up pulling the turbo to get to it all.
