let me know what happens when you hook the purple to the turn flasher. I am 99.9% positive that is the issue.

its a christmas miracle! i was determined this morning to figure out where that purple wire hooked up to! I found it, a purple wire on the harness was tucked up in the harness hiding with a taped off end I ran a jumper wire to it and......... whala!
