MEB Fawl Crawl Harlan, KY Oct. 12-13, 2012 - SC74 - 10-15-2012 I learned the hard way how quickly a trail can change over night. We ran the Rail Bed Friday afternoon without any trouble and carried momentum the entire way without stopping. Saturday was a different story - at the hardest spot near the very top somebody had eaten a hole out that swallowed a 40" tire. It killed all momentum, created diff clearance issues, and made it damn near impossible. We threw a few rocks in the hole and with a lot of bumping and beating it I came through it. Thomas from Krawlers Edge made it through just before me and came out with one wheel on the ground and slammed his pass. rear quarter into a rock wall. It was awesome watching his approach from behind but whewww what a ride he took! We did run...and without pulling cable one time :rebel:... Middle Rock Garden Grapevine Rail Bed (2X) Killin Time Crawford's Cry (reminded me of Lower Rock Garden at Tellico) Trouble I'm sure there are more I can't think of and will add to the list as I think of them. |
