'78 F250 - blazinchuck - 06-23-2007 that is one heck of a deal!!! They look awesome!Chuck '78 F250 - trkbilder - 06-23-2007 Man, some guys have all the luck!!! '78 F250 - bucketobolts - 07-01-2007 A little more progress. I finally brought it to the house form my inlaws place. I managed to pull the cab. Now a little clean up of the frame and body work to the cab. A buddy has just about talked me into a flatbed instead of reworking a factory bed. I'll see how the cab turns out before I start on the bed. '78 F250 - bucketobolts - 07-10-2007 Now that I've finished my honey-do's, back to work on the F truck. I managed to pull the engine, trans, and Xfer case today. Did I mention that it is hotter than damn-it outside. I plan on dropping the fuel tank, Xmember, and pulling the steering box if I can dodge thunderstorms this evening after it cool off a bit. I want to pull the axles and get it down to the bare frame for a good clean up and coating of POR15. '78 F250 - 66bronco - 07-10-2007 man i bet your nieghbors love you right now bryan '78 F250 - blazinchuck - 07-10-2007 Bryan, I've seen the hood...I would have him thrown out  '78 F250 - bucketobolts - 07-12-2007 When they kick me out, I'm moving to Chucks neighborhood. 8) Had to make a trip to Raleigh yesterday to pick up a VW Corado. I finished stripping down the frame this morning. Now get it ready for paint. '78 F250 - bucketobolts - 07-12-2007 I tore into the old 351M to see why it wouldn't run. The story the previous owner told me was that he worked night shift. So it was cold out and he started it to let it warm up. It cut off before he could get back in the house. So he went back out just reached in to start and worked the throttle with his hand. When he did he said it went bump and quit. What do you guys think? This came out of the pan. Missing from #3 & #7. And this is the crank @ #1 & #5. '78 F250 - trkbilder - 07-13-2007 Yea, it went "bump" alright!!! '78 F250 - 69bronco - 07-13-2007 What, it looks good to me. Just squirt it with some WD40 paste some JB weld on and your good to go. hock:  |
