Popping fuses and melting wires - Bitch'nBronco - 06-29-2014 Grounded it this morning, works great! Thanks, I'm pretty sure after all this the motor for the fan is bad. It popped a fuse again so I'll be replacing it soon Popping fuses and melting wires - Wickedlester - 06-29-2014 Cool deal. Glad I cld help. At least now u know the wiring is correct. If it blew a 30 then yea u prob need a fan. Popping fuses and melting wires - Bitch'nBronco - 06-30-2014 Yeah, it blew the 30a fz. Not as bad as before, it was melting the plastic before now it's just a normal blown fuze. The motor doesn't really want to spin up so I'm going to throw a new flexalite 1150 cfm fan on it and that should cool it nicely Popping fuses and melting wires - Bitch'nBronco - 07-16-2014 Installed an new flexalite 16" spal fan, what a difference from the old one! Thanks for the help, it's running between 180 and 190. Happy to have it working again.
