I was upset to find out Cage wanted over $500 for 2 axle brackets, frame brackets, and hardware!!! So now, I will have no choice but to make it work now with the crap I bought used! Dont expect any updates for a while:banghead:leep::repost: my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - SC74 - 01-16-2009 blazinchuck Wrote:wow, i hate to disappoint...I have done nothing!! as a matter 'o fact...JP was the last to wrench on my junk. Chuck - I feel really bad for being a part of that deal. If I can do anything to make it right let me know. I can make the frame brackets for you and see if I can round up some hardware from work. How much were just the axle brackets? If anything, you could fill them in with weld, mark the radius, and grind it back out. Time consuming PITA work I know. my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - broncomania - 01-16-2009 blazinchuck Wrote:well, absolutely nothing has been going on...completely lost the drive. Much cheaper than Cage my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - SC74 - 01-19-2009 Bighorn Wrote:Chuck with what you have and these..... That makes Cage look bad - ballistic has good stuff and those are very reasonable prices! I'd make sure that the arm will fit over the ballistic axle bracket. my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - blazinchuck - 01-19-2009 wow, that does make me think??? my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - chuzie - 01-19-2009 Think? Now let's not go too far Chuck! my full width axle build 5/23/07->10/28/07 - bucketobolts - 01-19-2009 I just bought several brackets and tabs from Ballistic just before Christmas. I could not have bought the material and made them myself for what they sell them for. |
