Broncitis Rat Rod build thread. - chuzie - 09-06-2015 It really depends on how bad it is. Obviously the extremely deteriorating stuff will not provide continuity to ground. Thats OK tho we need the rain and I just thru a 50 lb bag of pasture rye grass seed out around my deer stands in SC today. This rain should germinate it. Broncitis Rat Rod build thread. - Broncitis - 09-06-2015 Got all the 11 ga. panels cut and welded on the drivers side and the 16 ga. cut and fitted. Still have a 2 in. x 10 in. piece to cut an then weld the 16 up and the rear section will be patched. I am sure you guys know how mean humidity is, well it plum whips me. I used to work 12 hour shifts at the saw mill mostly welding and heavy maintenance. Couldn't do that any more. If I did they'd have to bury me or run me thru the chipper. I'll see what I can get done tomorrow. Hope to finish the floors. Broncitis Rat Rod build thread. - Broncitis - 09-07-2015 I got the drivers side welded out this morning. Now on to the front portion of the passenger side floor. Broncitis Rat Rod build thread. - broncosbybart - 09-07-2015 I think you're to too tough to be run through a chipper. Sounds like you've about got it done. Broncitis Rat Rod build thread. - chuzie - 09-07-2015 I would feel bad for the chipper. The front portions will have to wait for cooler weather. The bolts needed to mount the seat to the sliders needs to have a thin head in order to allow the slider to move to its limit fore and aft. Can someone tell me what those bolts are called. I would probably use a button head allen head type bolt. They are pretty low profile. |
