Raleigh Bash Camping! READ THIS FIRST! - cuz1 - 04-22-2008 I am not sure if the Falls Lake campgrounds have a curfew. I did not read all the details. It would be difficult to shuttle to Falls Lake due to mileage to the 4 Wheel Parts Store. It looks like the Hollypoint campground might the easiest to get to from 50 hwy. If you jump on 50 and go south about 10 miles it will run into 70 hwy.Turn right on 70 and go about 1.5 miles and the 4 Wheel Parts store will be on the right. I will do what ever you need me to to make your visit a pleasure. I live in North Raleigh so getting to Falls Lake is no big deal. :xyxthumbs: carl Raleigh Bash Camping! READ THIS FIRST! - JayT - 04-23-2008 Ditto... I don't live quite as close to 4wp as Carl, but we'll be shuttling whomever to make sure that everyone has fun in Raleigh. And yes, JP... You can borrow my BB to park outside the gate. :xyxthumbs: JayT cuz1 Wrote:I think we can arrange to do some shuttling of you campers after the event. We can get you back to the campsite to drop off your broncos inside the gate then take you to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner we can take you back to the gate. Umstead is within 2 or 3 miles of the 4 Wheel Parts Store and closer to the restaurant. No worries ya'll:drinkbud: Raleigh Bash Camping! READ THIS FIRST! - broncomatt - 04-23-2008 Since the event ends at 4pm, why dont we make reservations for 430pm. That way nobody is waiting around just to go to dinner. Plus that will give plenty of time to eat and chat with out trying to pile (atleast 10) people into cars to shuttle up to the camp ground. There should be plenty of time to notify the resturant. Broncomatt Raleigh Bash Camping! READ THIS FIRST! - JayT - 04-23-2008 Talked to Lynwood grill and they don't take reservations or call-aheads... However, the manager on duty today said that they normally aren't that busy during our timeframe and we shouldn't have any trouble pulling tables together for us to chat. I'll take a few minutes (at 3:30ish) on Saturday to walk/drive over and get the ball rolling with the manager on duty saturday. I'll leave a CC or drivers license if I have to. If, for whatever reason, we can't make it into Lynnwood, HWY70 is restaurant central. We could go to FatDaddy's (with pool hall), Golden Corral, or any number of places for a backup. Appreciate the hospitality...I was just kidding about your BB but that could be nice to have for all of us camping that evening. I also agree with Matt on the 4:30 reservation at dinner. Then there would be no reason for the shuttle, we can all get back in time for curfue. Also if some of yall want to hang out with us campers for awhile I think that would be cool too. Us inmates could shuttle yall back to the gate to get your trucks when you get ready to go home. Anyway can't wait to get there the clock is ticking fast!! Carl are there any rules about the rock garden...I wuz just wondering cause I have no rollcage yet. I hope not, I'm really wanting to try that. Also my offroad kit is here for my carb and hope to get it in myself, Matt does'nt it cost double the labor if I try and then you bail me out? Raleigh Bash Camping! Sweet I am really looking forward to trying that...I just got my new offroad carb kit installed and hope that helps my hill climb problems I had with my carb. Raleigh Bash Camping!
