Hahaha! Man, Chuck might burn the bronco with me in it if this keeps going the way it's gone.

And there we have it. Welcome insights Chuzie Smile

I'm not a fan of that style of pressure plate. I really think it is still something involving the clutch. Try it in 2 low and see what she does.

Axel wrap and the soft springs seems to be the culprit. Doesn't do it with the rear shaft out and the torque going out the offset transfer case output to the front. How about adjusting those duff traction bars back to preload the axel in the wrapped position....(ie. loosen the front nut and tighten the back, maybe jack it up and give it some droop first)

ok, im still about to pull whatever hair i have left OUT. my spare shaft has a tube length of 18" and his shaft had 20". so i was able to install mine in his truck with about 1-1.5" of slip available. took it for a drive and the bucking is still there! so i dont think its the driveshaft binding. i did try 4lo and i can launch the truck! i can spin the tires, 4lo is giving me the mechanical advantage...3sp with stock gears and 32" tires might be hurting me some. so im leaning towards the flywheel again. the clutch shouldnt be the issue. its a 3 finger, but all broncos can that way.

Can u video the bucking focusing on springs and driveshaft?

If someone was here to help, I can't do that and drive

Sorry, by clutch I was including flywheel, linkage, operator or anything related to the clutch Big Grin

If you decide to post a video of the susp while you're driving it, I'd like to see that. Make sure it is in a crowded parking lot!

wow, if things couldnt get any worse...had a friend come by to help check. my bronco (for whatever dang reason) has a 92.5" wheel base. Doug's 76 has 93" wb. Ryan's bronco(the one im working on) has a 90.5" on the pass side!!! and a 91.5" on the dr side!!! I just dont understand, the frame looks good, no signs of wrecks. also just got another set of springs with a add-a-leaf...so they have a great arch to them and i will install them soon.only thing i can figure is something is up with the blocks. the radius arms look correct(no worn out bushings) both shackles look like they are standing straight up...i thought maybe one would be forward, and one back...but its not. also, the damn axle housing is leaking around the rear cover from factory weld area...ugh!!!

I had one other thought for area of slop being the transfer case high range rear gears. but I think you have transfer case #2 with same issue? Crank the traction bars, what have ya got to loose? take you 10 minutes, no additional hands needed.
