I wish I could have a capable rig for $6-$8K! You gotta do what you gotta do to feed the wheeling addiction.

There are deals out there - especially now with the economy, but I always keep that saying in the back of my mind - "Built, Not Bought." :xyxthumbs:

I also liked the sticker on the back of one of the EB's at Gulches - "Warning: I welded on this truck".

Was a Zuki on NC4x4 last week for I think $6500. It was pretty nice, stretched, linked, crawler boxes, 39.5 Irocs... It's long gone now though.

i know the feelin about workin on a rig for months and feel like it's never comin toghter. I bought my 79' in november wheeled it 3 time the rest of the time it's been sittin bein worked on. the first time i have really drove it was sunday to move it for the hurricane. the steerin link was too long the panhard bar is to short(it's all i had at the time) it has no brakes, and only steers to the right. but it made me want to work on it all the more.

It takes patience... breaks every now and again are good (for peace of mind and ease on the wallet).
