Okay, I have been slowly rounding up the parts for the 4L80E NP205 swap.

So far...

4L80E rebuildable core 2wd

NP205 (need to pickup)

NP205 short 32 spline input

4L80E 4x4 32 spline output shaft

NP203 TH400 adapter .... will modify it to be used as the adapter between the 4L80E and NP205

I have no plans at this time to go electronic control with the 4L80e ... will probably just purchase a reverse pattern manual valve body and install it during the rebuild.

Since all of this is going on..... It only makes sense to change the turbo, exhaust and add a water to air cooler.

Holset HX27(similar to an HE221) wastegated turbo is ready for install.

6bt exhaust manifold purchased to chop & weld for the HE221

Plan for completion.... unknown.... but I have no major work travel plans over the next several months.

Hi,

Was checking out ur conversion, very clean job impressive. I'm doing a conversion with a 4bt and nv4500, going to use the Hyd. boost for the brakes. But before I get too deep into this I figured I should get as much info as I can, " learn from other people mistakes so not to do the same. So if you have a chance I have a lot of questions. Thanks Ken :xyxthumbs:

Not to get too far off the build, but I have a 4bta and an NV4500 as well for one that I hope to do sometime down the line. Saw one done recently that actually used the stock EB vacuum booster hooked to a factory 6bt vacuum pump. Thought that was a good idea. Not sure if I'm going to do that or go hydroboost.
