Not really sure of the trail schedule - HOW BOUT IT CHUCK???? - I'm guessing we'll hit the trails on Saturday around 9-ish. I'm in Arrowhead, site 28 so if you get there early you can probably park your vehicle at the site and we can leave from there. Or we can meet in the big parking lot around 9:00. A sausage, egg & cheese biscuit would be fantastic. Don't worry about any gas money.

Is anyone planning on doing a night run Saturday? How about Sunday, anyone wheeling or is everybody heading home? Looking like I will only be able to get out there
Sunday, maybe Saturday night at the earliest. Saturday is the daughters birthday and we have a meeting for the other daughters school trip. If theres going to be a night run I'll head up Saturday afternoon/evening. This is my last chance to get some wheeling in before heading off to Iraq again.

I'm definitely up for a night run on Sat. If you get there, I'm sure we'll put together a small group (at least) for a night run. If not, I'll run till noon-ish on sunday, so a morning run is definitely good with us.

Those who know me well, know that I'm a geek. My latest hobby is geocaching. In short, it's geeks like myself that hide a small weatherproof box (ammo box size) with a log book and maybe more (called a cache - pronounced "cash"). Then they post it's coordinates online (geocaching.com) for others to find using their GPS units. It can get way more complex than this, but that's the idea in its simplest form.
The reason I'm posting about this in this thread is that I planned on hiding my own cache at this Nov Run in Uwharrie. Researching places to hide one, I see that there are several already hidden in the area. Technically (legally), they cannot be hidden in a National Forest, so I was surprised to see some on the trails...
Anyone interested in going on a geocache run? I'll make a list and we can all hunt for the same list, or split it up depending on interest levels...
