We will keep that in mind towards the middle of summer. You never know!! Charlotte area meeting - JimR - 01-07-2008 The place is called Little Dooey's. Do you want me to go ahead and set something up for 2/16? Jim Charlotte area meeting - trkbilder - 01-07-2008 Yea man, that sounds great. How about noon? Can we park next to the road? What kind of food do they serve, not that that matters to me, I'll eat just about anything. We just need a heads up on what to expect. I hope my leg will be well enough for me to be there, I'm having my right knee replaced on Jan. 17th but I should be OK! We'll see how that goes, meanwhile set that up for the group. Any problems, let me know and we'll go from there. Charlotte area meeting - JimR - 01-07-2008 I have reserved the upstairs at Little Dooey's BBQ and Blues for noon on 2/16. For those that have never been there, they are right across from Concord Mills Mall on Concord Mills Boulevard. They have great BBQ as well as wings, burgers, salads, etc. I will meet with them to iron out the details further, but I do not anticipate it being a problem to grab 10 or so parking spaces right next to each other out front. More to follow. Jim Charlotte area meeting - redsblue73 - 01-09-2008 Hey I'm back in the loop after a short break...finally have a computer at the house now!!! I'm pumped about this event as well as the meet and greet coming up......I just ran into a guy a week ago with a '74 EB and I believe he's going to try and make it on the 16th as well as the 29th at Carpenter's...he had a '73 EB for sale for $1500 and when David & I went back two days later it was gone...."it woulda been a good one for the trails".....next time, I guess.... Chuck, if you want to send the banner to me for the charlotte meeting you can unless Clint or Mattt already has it arranged......let me know what you want to do and I can shoot you an address at my work where you can send it and I'll help with the shipping cost.....we could just bring it with us in March I guess... Thanks Clint and Jim for working on things....Little Dooey's will be be cool this time and I'm all for roaming to other parts of the state....let me know if there's anything else we need to do except get EVERYONE TO BE THERE! My Christmas was awesome....every GIRL'S dream....I got new pistons, rods, rings for my new motor under the tree and David even had the engine bored out for me....what a great guy! .....next one will be a short post, I promise! See 'ya, Rhonda Charlotte area meeting - trkbilder - 01-09-2008 Don't mind the length, just keep'em coming. It's good to hear from you again. I'm waiting on JimR about the arrangements at Dooeys. I think we're all set except for that. c'mon Charlotte area meeting - JimR - 01-10-2008 We're all set at Little Dooey's - we have the upstairs reserved. I will plan on getting there early to reserve parking out front. I'll go meet with the owners in the next week to see if there is anything else we need to do. Hope to get a big crowd there! Jim Charlotte area meeting - trkbilder - 01-10-2008 Thanks, Jim. Now all we have to do is wait on the 16th. That might be the hardest part. Charlotte area meeting - broncomatt - 01-10-2008 You can count me in, thanks for all of your work everybody. Broncomatt |
