Carb CFM? - JayT - 11-14-2008 What CFM are you guys running on the Truck avenger? On my mild rebuilt 302, I'm looking for a truck avenger but don't want to be constantly trying to tune it... It'll be a 66 with a 302, 30 over and a little aggressive cam (don't remember specs) Thanks, JayT Carb CFM? - blazinchuck - 11-14-2008 I have a fairly stock'ish '87 302HO from a mustang...I've been running the 670 TA. I still need to lower the floats. But, I'm still happy with it. Right out the box, it didn't do too bad..but my 1st one was set up a little better. Carb CFM? - JayT - 11-14-2008 Cool. Thanks! BTW, love the avatar! Carb CFM? - broncomatt - 11-14-2008 I run the same 670 TA, love the simplicty and ease of repair and maintenance. Broncomatt Carb CFM? - JayT - 11-14-2008 Thanks Matt! looks like i'm in the market for a 670! Carb CFM? - rtj731 - 11-15-2008 JayT I have a 470 TA, runs good if your interested, $225 shipped Jay Carb CFM? - Timstrk - 11-15-2008 Jay, I think you will have to down jet the 670 out of the box or it will run rich. The 470 would be the way to go. I have the 670 on mine now only because the 470 wasn't available when I bought it. Once its tuned (jetted) you shouldn't need to adjust anything any more. Tim Carb CFM? - 744x4 - 11-16-2008 520 CFM was the stock 2 barrel so it is a crapshoot between the 470 and the 670 |
