hauling dirt? - broncomatt - 12-14-2008 well its not mine, but I spent some time today hauling dirt with this. It belongs to my buddy up the street. I needed to level an area to put up a good size shed. I love this thing, 4wd, 9 forward speeds, 3 reverse. I do wish it had a front bucket, the rear one wont hold much dirt. I plan to move some more tommorow, just wish it was warmer. Still trying to clear 1/4 of an acre for a garden. Beat the snot out of my full size draging some trees I cut over the summer out of the way. I guess I need to put that mini spool in that I've been sitting on for some time.mokin: Broncomatt hauling dirt? - JayT - 12-14-2008 ahh yeah!!! that 1715 running gas or diesel?! gotta tell ya though, I'm lovin the backdrop.... hauling dirt? - cuz1 - 12-14-2008 Looking good on that Ford:xyxthumbs: hauling dirt? - johnpaulgolf - 12-14-2008 X2 on the FORD looking good and a BIG X2 on the backdrop!!! Kinda looks like the same paint on both of those FORDS !!! upergrin: hauling dirt? - broncomatt - 12-14-2008 its a diesel, as it turns out i'm way to sick to go out today. I'm sure he'll let me hang on to it untill next weekend. He has 2 tractors! If you look closely behind my eb you can see the quarter pannel of my full size. My list of work that thing needs seems to be growing, brakes need bleed, exhast is routed badly, needs rear spool, rear bumper needs a tack weld to hold it in place and the timing is off. Its fun to go crashing into the woods and fill the bed up with wood and get out with little trouble. Broncomatt hauling dirt? - bucketobolts - 12-14-2008 Nice work horse! you'd be surprised at how useful a good tractor can be. My father inlaw has a '50 model N Ford. It not restored but in pretty good shape. The N model is gear a little high for real heavy work or pulling. I stopped by Rhonda and Dave's back in the summer. Dave has a nice collection of antique tractors. Maybe we can pester them into posting some pics. |
