Bronco Hauler - Bronco Biff - 01-23-2009

I've been putting together a combination that I Dreamed up after looking at a couple of sweet Toy Haulers. Nobody made one the height I needed as a stock model, and a special order would take about a year to have one of the trailer Mfg slap one together. Besides I wanted some special features I didn't even know I needed!! It's a project in motion as we have been using it just about since it came home. Things really started to get crazy (you guys would best to understand this) once my many decade bronco buddy friend Jim decided it was time to scrap his trailer that had spent it's life since new as a beach retreat on the Outer Banks. The stove, doulble stainless sink, awning and a few other odds and ends were retrieved. It had a charge converter, but after cooking a battery to oblivion, I decided to upgrade to some newer technology stuff. In the begining a deal on the ourtdoor shower popped up and I bought it, so that made it a done deal, it was time to find a trailer!! Once a found the lucky candidate, the madness began!!

Gubni Wrote:I want to do something like that too. Been looking for a short gooseneck hauler to be the bed int he neck part.

Saw this one for sale in Charlotte last October. The guy that built it was Dale Earnharts body man until his passing. Now he is like the resident project consultant for DEI. Pretty sweet. Roll up garage door, propane heat, stove, window a/c mounted under goose neck in front, king size bed with real mattress.

Went off on a tangent in getting ready for Uwahrrie 11/11/11 (just noticed funky date!) Picked up a 76" sofa/bed off the neighbors trash pile a while back to replace the 68" I previously installed. Ordered some Tempurpedic memory foam and hope to get some matching vinyl in time to reupoulster it to match the dinette I put in. I'll have to modify the frame to fold up against the wall like the dinette. It never ends!!!

I put some new shoes on the 4door completing the "matchin set" I was after for the Bronco Hauler and the truck. Now I need two more Alcoas to have matching spares. Fully interchangable between the two!!! ( Am I a little anal?)
