A couple of quick Questions - brewie212 - 02-17-2009

Hello fellow bronco buddies, I have a couple of quick questions.
1. I am a rookie and took off my distributor and wires to replace it, and did not realize that the intake manifold is different then the original. So when I put my new plug wires in and compared them to a few old pics I realized the wires were not in the right places. I cannot see were they go I just know that they are wrong. I know the one labeled on the distributor goes to firing postion one and so on. If anyone could give me the firing order and positions, and which one is which on my manifold that would greatly be appreciated. Oh it is a 302. I didnt think it would matter but something is not adding up.
2. This one is easier, I also took lines off of the trans that ran to the radiator, and have lost the piece of paper were I wrote down were each one goes. I was wondering it you are looking at the C4 trans the cooler line on the left goes to A. the top line on the radiator or B. the Bottum one on the Radiator. With my expert detective skills I will be able to deduct were the other one goes.
Thanks again guys you ROCK:banghead:

I can't remember the firing order of the top of my head, but the best advice I can give is to go spend $10 on a Haynes manual. I reference mine all the time for torque specs etc and it's definitely worth the money for questions just like this.

I can't help you on the tranny cooler lines. I can look when I get home tonight but the length/shape of the hard lines should be distinctive enough to determine which one goes where.

thanks guys I guess I was right, that is the same firing order that I used. It just looks different in my pics. Does anyone have any idea about the trans lines?
