the perils of our sport - Badass - 02-19-2009 ok so this is kinda nasty.... at telico if you look close in the first 3 pics you can see the guy in the blue shirt in pic 1 through the windshield. he is running. you can see in the next two pics where his foot gets caught under the slider....ouch!! here is the results of a scout roll NSFW/K very nasty!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/themarshallfamily/sets/72157594328168789/ the perils of our sport - johnpaulgolf - 02-19-2009 ummm ... DAYUM ... :banghead:    the perils of our sport - godevil - 02-19-2009 When was this????? That wagoneer is on SLICKROCK!! whitch is CLOSED?!?!?!?? Bad mojo for sure. A truck's cab is NOT protection in a rollover situation. this is ESPECIALLY true for our early broncos. The stock rollbar will do nothing from keeping your windsheild fron meeting your lap. Good point for spectators too. If you are BELOW the truck on the trail it can be on top of you before you know it. Donnie the perils of our sport - Badass - 02-19-2009 i believe it was awhile back here is some pics of the rebuild the perils of our sport - SC74 - 02-19-2009 Badass Wrote:i believe it was awhile back here is some pics of the rebuild That's one of the rebelrockrunners crew. I've seen that rig on the trail at tellico. the perils of our sport - nhopman - 02-19-2009 godevil Wrote:When was this????? The Toyota is at the beginning of the climb on Guardrail wich is open. Still good advice for spectators - stand up hill or COMPLETELY out of the way. The Wagoneer is on Slickrock, but I think that pic is a couple years old. I gave Slickrock a good try a couple of months before the closure and had to pull cable. It doesn't look like it, but it's actually a very difficult obstacle with many opportunities to roll or flop. Sure hope I get another chance at sometime in the future. A rollover can happen to anyone at any time - there's nothing like having a good cage to help keep you safe. Seatbelts help too as long as you wear them :xyxthumbs: Nick the perils of our sport - broncomania - 02-19-2009 the yota is on guardrail. the waggy is on slickrock. he is an nc4x4 member. get a cage !!!! protection is your friend. the perils of our sport - trkbilder - 02-20-2009 And you guys wonder why I don't go off-road.
