There is No Alcohol Allowed on the property of Gulches Off Road Vehicle Park! Not during park hours or after.
Last weekend we had an incident. Somehow this rule was not observed and the precise reason there is this rule was made evident. A camper thought it was their right to get knee walkin' commode huggin' drunk with their buddy and then go riding in the park. They not only drove over every barrier in the park but also drove off a 12 foot bank into the river. The passenger was injured however fortunately not that bad.
The upshot was, we had our first DUI Felony Arrest. Police, County Sheriffs, Fire Dept and State Troopers will now be aware of the fact that this kind of activity may take place on our property. Be forewarned we will not tolerate this kind of activity and we will call the proper authorities to have you removed from our property. There will be no warnings.
I do not feel this is a problem during park hours.
Camping will still be allowed however night riding will have to be curtailed at 10:00 PM
Organized night rides will be continued but the ride will be curtailed at a specific time.
This weekend Halloween Spooky Night Ride is on and after the spook guided tour, open night riding will be finished by 1:00 am
Thank you.
I know for the vast majority of the riders in our park, this does not pertain to you.
Skip
