We have a 1990 302 with and 3 speed automatic with OverDrive. What trans. do we have or where do i look for this information?

Is there a button on either dash or end of shifter to bypass od.If so it is an E4OD.If you have to manually pull the shift lever down I think it was an AOD.

if the tranny pan is L shaped it is aod i think cuz my brother tranny was L shape and it was aod now has a c6 in it cuz he didnt like the aod
