Are these salvagable? - chuzie - 07-29-2009 Here are some pics of the axleshaft that was damaged the other week. The stub looks pretty good, just some rash on the ears. The inner shaft has rash too but the main issue is the one ear that is bent inward. I wonder if that is something that can be fixed. Thoughts? OUTER INNER INNER INNER Are these salvagable? - broncomatt - 07-29-2009 Not worth saving. Once the ears are bent they are very hard to get right. Plus with the rash they would probably fail before the joint. I have tried to save a few and had the caps come out due to the ears not being correct.
