RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS - chulo2004 - 08-21-2009 IM GOING TO (ATMEPT TO) REPLACE MY RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS ON SATURDAY. FROM DOING REASEARCH ON IT PEOPLE SAY YOU HAVE TO DRILL OUT THE RIVETS FROM THE BRACKETS. THIS MAY SOUND STUPID BUT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE DROP BRACKETS INSTALLED DOES IT MEAN THAT THE RIVETS HAVE BEEN DRIILED OUT ? AND THE ONLY THING I NEED TO DO IS LOOSEN THE BRACKETS SO I CAN REMOVE THE OLD BUSHINGS? I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE IM GOING ABOUT IT THE RIGHT WAY. MY WIFE ALREADY SAYS THAT THE BRONCO IS A MONEY PIT! RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS - sparkchaser - 08-21-2009 You should be able to loosen the drop brackets. But break the large radius arm nut loose first. It can be a bear to get free. RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS - chulo2004 - 08-21-2009 will i be able to re use the nut? RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS - sparkchaser - 08-21-2009 I was able to use mine. RADIUS ARM BUSHINGS - chulo2004 - 08-21-2009 wish me me luck. this will be the first time i replace them! |
