They said on the news that a local civilian cop was killed also. My brother is a cop in Killeen, TX. Off post housing for Ft Hood. He is also a retired LTC. with access to the post. Things were a little tight around here until I got through to him. He wasn't involved and KPD wasn't either. Sister-in-law said things there are much worse than the media is letting out. Condolences to all involved.
