I am restoring an uncut 75 and would like some tire and wheel info. I have 1 inch susp. and 2 in body lift. I want to put Taller tires with mild tread. I think 16 inch would be good. I have a set of 16 inch stock steel wheels I took off a 64 Scout that are aprox 5.5 or 6 inches wide, with very little offset. If I go with these and some Tall/narrow m/s tread I think I will have rear fender clearance I need. I put 31-10-15 on some jeep wagon wheels and they scrubbed on the rear . They had too much offset. I would like to find 16 in. aluminum Ford style wheels that would work. Has anyone used this combination or if you have any suggestions I would appreciate any information. Thanks WRT

Can't help much on this, but MillKnob should chime in soon and he's running uncut rear fenders with tall and skinny tires.

I believe Mill Knob is running 33 X 9.50's on stock steel wheels.
I think he has about 3" of susp lift but I'm not exactly sure.

Mill ??? Where ya at buddy?

i think he said it was a 2.5 inch lift with 33x9.50 bfg at ko. I like the look too. My sons bronco is uncut. It's gonna have a 3.5 inch. I have some 33x10.50 bfg km2 on stockers and Mr. Jp's hubcaps.

Thanks for the reply, Mine sat just like that until I put the hardtop on and replaced the complete floor with 11 ga steel plate and it settled about 1.25 inch and now it hits on bumps and turns. I have stock crome Jeep wheels from a 84 Scrambler on it ,the offset is more than the stock bronco steel wheels. I think I will swap back to the stock bronco wheels. I also have some 16 inch narrow steel wheels from a 64 Scout that might get me where I want to be with some 235/or 245 /16s. Thanks for the info WRT

You are both right. I am running skinny tires on my ride. I am running the 33x9.50 bfg's but they don't make them any more. I believe that you can run the 10.50 bfg's and your fenders will clear it. I am running 2.5 inch lift with no body lift. One day when the bfg's are wore out I plan on running a set of 32 or 31's. Hope this help. I will try to get some pictures up for you soon.
