guess since im almost ready for the maiden voyage i would like to get some exhaust ideas. since my wifes heep took a dump in the yard. headers are outta the question for now but looking for exhaust ideas. would like to stay with true duals and maybe run out in front of rear tires? dont know muffler selection but looking for good sound/performance for buck..im gonna have to put something on it. thanks

Definatly out in front of the rear tires. That's the way I always go mine.

does this way help with the exhaust coming into cab

I have true duals, H-pipe, 2 flowmasters, long tube headers, the whole nine yards. It sounds awesome. Nice and deep but not obnoxiously loud.

There is only one thing I would change about my system.... the fact that is is coming straight out the rear. The exhaust may as well just be hooked directly into my air vents (if I had any).

The exhaust in my cab is bad but becomes even worse when the soft top is installed even when the rear window is closed.

I cannot say for sure but I am willing to bet that had I come out the front of the rear tires this would not be an issue.

Those long trips to URE leave me with a headache and nausea and I wonder how much longer will be able to go without losing consciousness. Smile

Casey I don't have a problem with exhaust in the cab. Even with holes in the floor. But I have a half cab.

Cuzie I thught your headaches where from the rocks keeping ur gas from pouring out.

Ouch. Maybe it was a combination of both!

I ran a super single. I crossed the drivers side to the passenger the tucked a knockoff one chamber muffler up outside the frame on the passenger side. Then exited out in front of the rear tire.
