Yea, those benders are the best of the cheapest.

Mike, dayum nice body work on that FSB!! Have you guys given her a name yet? Is that your little brother as well as your dad in some of the pics? Looks like this project may be a family affair.... FSB's ROCK

92 Fullsize Build - Scotts Bronco - nitro - 11-24-2010

Yes, all three of us are in the pics somewhere, dad in blue jeans and t shirt, me in blue jeans and my nat. guard shirt and my little brother in his blue shirt and blue jeans.

I guess I never put this in there, this FSB belongs to my neighbor who is currently deployed to Iraq, he will be back in February and this is our thank you gift to him, he left it to us as a grocery getter so dad could run around while mom had the truck (we only have one vehicle) and because of what we're doing the truck has only been out twice since we got it, but anyways, we are doing this free of charge, his wife is buying most of the parts and he has no clue what we're doing. We have a lot to do before his return, but I can't wait to unveil it.

92 Fullsize Build - Scotts Bronco - nitro - 12-14-2010

Sorry guys, some updates but no pictures, will post when I can upload pics...

92 Fullsize Build - Scotts Bronco - JayT - 12-15-2010

That's AWESOME! I never read who this was being built for... You guys rock!

92 Fullsize Build - Scotts Bronco - nitro - 12-16-2010

Thank you, I'm going to try and upload pictures here in a few minutes. It's down to the last month before we HAVE to have it done so if anyone wants to get in on this we could really use some help. Not trying to beg and I know I'm not known all that well, but it's crunch time...

92 Fullsize Build - Scotts Bronco - nitro - 12-16-2010

OK, here we go, short bit on what we've done, some things we don't have pictures for.

Building the front bumper.

Building the rear bumper.

Building the cage.

Although the cage would be functional it is mostly for looks which is why we did not triangulate it, if we knew scott was going to go out and run the truck on a course or trails we would have done that, but because this will be primarily street we're not worried about it.

The bumpers will both be topped with the diamond plate.

What you can't see:
-Body work
-More body work (on his bike with a monster sized dent in the tank. might post some pictures)
-Computer Aided Drafting (I've learned my way around a few programs and would love to do some work for anyone if you're interested (I also drew the front and rear bumpers in 3D))

Until next time!
