Any not so traditional T-day dishes out there? We are pretty traditional, so it would seem. My wife is doing a key lime pie instead of a pumpkin pie. That is about as crazy as they get at her parents house (even that got some objections)...

Just finished Thanksgiving breakfast....grits, eggs, country ham, red-eye gravy, homemade biscuits and strawberry preserves!! Asked the wife what she was going to do for an encore later today. She said, more or less a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at about 5 pm this afternoon. Turkey and dressing with all the trimmings, plus 4 or 5 different desserts....strawberry cheesecake, pumpkin pie, 7-layer chocolate cake, caramel apple pie and ice cream. Man, they will have to roll me out of the dining room....WE ARE SO BLESSED TO LIVE IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY, HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAS A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING DAY....AND PLEASE KEEP A PRAYER IN YOUR HEARTS TODAY FOR THOSE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE IN HARM'S WAY IN ORDER TO KEEP US SAFE AND PRESERVE OUR FREEDOMS....:patriot: :flag: :america:

Just finished round one at my wifes dads house. Turkey and all the fixins while watching some football. Round 2at my moms house about 5 then off to bed to do some christmas shopping in the morning. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!!
